adidas germany Ipswich Town return to an orange away kit

Having signed a four year kit deal with adidas the kit manufacturer when the 1978 FA Cup and 1981 UEFA Cup was won the club has also gone down a nostalgia route with their choice of colour for the new away strip.

Town wore an away kit in their promotion seasons of 1991/92, under John Lyall, and 1999/00, under George Burley. Orange was also the colour worn on their travels in the 2004/05 campaign which saw Joe Royle’s side defeated in the play offs following a third place finish.

Orange is also a nod to the various Dutchmen who have graced the Portman Road pitch over the years, Frans Thijssen and Arnold Muhren a big part of the halcyon days of the ’70s and ’80s, with Martijn Reuser and Fabian Wilnis involved in the club’s last promotion campaign.

Ipswich Town’s Marcus Stewart scores against Bolton in the play off first leg in May 2000

The away kit will be available to purchase on July 1/2, with the home kit not available until 10 days later. The new shirts will cost 44.99 for adult sizes and 34.99 for youth sizes.

See tomorrow’s EADT for more pictures, as well as a full match preview of Watford v Ipswich Town. A poster will be available in Monday’s official matchday programme ahead of Ipswich’s home game against Bournemouth.

jd adidas originals investors buy back company from Dachis Group

Remember about two and a half years ago when Dachis Group, a venture backed Austin startup that builds social media marketing tools, snapped up Lincoln, Neb. based youth branding agency Archrival? Well, the deal has been undone.

Archrival co founders Clint! Runge and Charlie Hull along with a group of undisclosed, Nebraska based minority investors have bought back the company, spinning it out of Dachis into an independent, locally owned entity.

of June 1, Archrival has come home, fully back in our hands and we couldn be more excited, Runge said Sunday in an email. He declined to share the terms of the deal.

The reason for the move? Dachis wants to evolve its offering in social analytics software and data driven marketing. Archrival wants to focus on what it does best: youth marketing.

Group is a great company but with a different destiny, Runge (right) said. is an agency ready to explode again. A parting of ways just made sense. deal had been in the works for several months. And it already adding employees. have lots of openings for uber talented strategists, designers and developers. Runge will continue to serve as managing director.

equipped to grow our company asked about the biggest impact made by Dachis after two and half years under its ownership,

here what Runge had to say:

We learned a lot from our time with Dachis Group and I don regret any of it. We had an opportunity to see how many other firms work at a global level intimately. Think about that! For the first time we got see how other agencies really work, their successes and their struggles. Together we all got a chance to re evaluate everything and see what works best for us, for our team, for our direction. Thanks to our former partnership, we now even better equipped to grow our company while maintaining our culture and high level of creative excellence. Also just personally, having Jeff Dachis as a mentor has been a terrific experience.

So what will be different? In many ways, not much. But at a base level, we made some significant changes that have set the foundation for us to grow into the future.

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. A Sheffieldelementary school mother is upset about injuries her daughter received recently. She claims her fourth grader is the victim of bullying.

The pictures you’ll see in this story are graphic. WHNT News 19 met with the girl’s mother on Monday. Kelly Turpin said this is an ongoing problem.

Turpin says she was called to her daughter’s school on Friday morning. Willson Elementary in Sheffield, Turpin says she had an incident with another student.

At first, Turpin says the school told her it was an accident.

“My child started talking right then and said, ‘No Momma, I told them she grabbed me and pulled me and jumped on top of me,'” said Turpin.

Turpin claims the other student has been bullying her daughter for a while. We understand the Turpins have also spoken with an attorney.

WHNT News 19 spoke with Keith Lankford, Superintendent of Sheffield City Schools by phone. He says they were not made aware there was a bullying situation going on until afterwards. He added they are diligently investigating the incident and will enforce the school code of conduct if necessary.

“You know it’s not about who’s right and who’s wrong, it’s fix it,” Turpin said.

While the school system investigates, Turpin is looking into home schooling her daughter. Willson School on Monday. As the system continues to investigate the incident, we asked Principal Tony Willis what the school does to help prevent bullying.

“The old adage, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, is exactly the approach we want to take,” Willis explained. Willson Elementary School is located in Sheffield. (WHNT News 19)

Willis is in his fourth year leading the school. He says the staff spends lots of time educating and talking with students about their zero tolerance for bullying.

But Willis says not all incidents between students should be labeled as bullying.

“When students make mistakes and deviate from what we want them to do, most of them have a soft heart at this age where they are remorseful and they shed tears and they can see the error in their ways, and they try to make amends,” said Willis.

Willis says every Friday morning, the school comes together for character education. The school brings in speakers to talk with students about integrity and how to handle different situations.

Willis stresses if they do have an episode of bullying, they have a plan of action in place.

“Our guidance counselor has a lot of small groups, different groups that he meets with from time to time. And many times just through talking with the counselor they can resolve these issues and learn from them,” Willis said.

adidas sportswear Ipswich Town reveal red away kit for 2017

The last time Town played in a red away shirt was in 2013/14 as the team finished ninth in what was Mick McCarthy’s first full season in charge. The Blues boss had made a special request for that colour back then.

Since then, Ipswich have had away strips of orange, the Barcelona esque maroon and navy stripes and, most recently, all white.

The kit is once again manufactured by adidas, for the fourth year running, and once again features the name of owner Marcus Evans as sponsor, for the ninth year running.

Town have already launched their new home kit for next season, with white shorts returning to complement the traditional blue shirt and socks.

Grant Ward models Ipswich Town’s new away kit for the 2017/18 season.

Skipper Luke Chambers, fellow defender Tommy Smith and Grant Ward were chosen as the models for the new away kit. Town’s keeper will be wearing all black whenever a change of kit is required from the new bright cyan coloured first choice strip.

adidas cc ride Interesting Facts About

adidas indoor gazelle Interesting Facts About

There has been a lot in the news lately about “super bugs,” which is a term that some people use to refer to bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. Super bugs are not actually a new phenomenon; it’s just that we are seeing more bacteria now than ever before that are resistant to an increasing number of medications. Before antibiotics came into widespread use in the 1950s, people sometimes died of what today we consider to be routine infections. With the emergence of super bugs, even common infections can be harder to treat because some bacteria are resistant to many antibiotics. Very sick people in hospitals are at the highest risk. How do super bugs develop in the first place?Different antibiotics kill bacteria in a variety of different ways. The billions of bacteria that normally live in your body always include a few mutants that by chance have become antibiotic resistant. If they are exposed to antibiotics, the mutants that are resistant survive while the others are killed off. In essence, repeated exposure to antibiotics over time can make these resistant mutant bugs predominant.Do antibiotics kill the bugs that cause colds?Viruses, not bacteria, cause colds. Viruses do not respond to antibiotics. Nevertheless, sometimes doctors feel pressure from patients to write a prescription for antibiotics. Even most bronchitis is typically nothing more than a really bad cough caused by a virus, which usually goes away on its own with time. What about earaches and sinus infections? There is also a common misconception that if you do have a bacterial infection,
adidas cc ride Interesting Facts About
you have to be given an antibiotic to get better, but it’s not always true. Take ear infections in kids by way of example. Roughly three quarters of ear infections get better without treatment in two to three days. However, we don’t know which child is the one out of four who needs the antibiotic to get better, so frequently an antibiotic is prescribed anyway. What is the consequence of over prescribing antibiotics? The toll it may take is that the population of bacteria living in your body may become resistant to antibiotics because the bacteria in your system that responded to antibiotics have been killed off. What is the proper way to take antibiotics? It is very important to take all of the antibiotic pills in your prescription for the full length of time your doctor has instructed. Skipping doses or stopping and starting repeatedly encourages resistant bacteria to take over. This means that you should not save a few of the pills in your prescription for the next time you get sick.Is MRSA a serious problem?MRSA is the antibiotic resistant bug that has gotten the most attention from the media. These particular bacteria have become more aggressive in causing superficial infections, mostly of the skin. MRSA can cause serious infections even in healthy people, although it is a much bigger problem for hospital patients. We are seeing increased cases of MRSA on sports teams where players suffer broken skin and share towels and personal items and in people who shave their skin below the neck.To reduce your risks of MRSA, take good care of your skin. Don’t do body shaving, and don’t share razors, towels, or hairbrushes. If you suffer a skin injury, wash it and keep it covered until it’s healed. And remember to wash your hands frequently.Dr. Snedeker is a board certified pediatrician and pediatric infectious disease specialist on staff at Cayuga Medical Center and in practice with Northeast Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Ithaca,

adidas techfit powerweb Indiana State pares down its list of men’s basketball coaching candidates

Indiana State Director of Athletics Ron Prettyman confirmed Tuesday that he will pare his list of 10 candidates for the ISU men’s basketball coaching position down to three or four finalists. Mayo. “I think I was originally on the short list, but it sounds to me that they want to go with guys they know with Midwest ties, at least that’s what I’ve heard from the firm handling their search.”The firm Cantu refers to is ChampSearch. Dana Pump said San Diego and Wyoming are currently clients of the firm.”ChampSearch probably brought three of out my final group of 10,” Prettyman said. “But even the ones I did know, they also knew and give me more input, and they put me in touch with people who knew more about them.”Prettyman said that the relationship has been one of mutual support. Prettyman presented ChampSearch with some names and vice versa. Most of the work boils down to who the Pump brothers can network with in the business which is nearly everyone. The Pump’s camps and tournaments are must see events for the majority of Division I coaches. The Pump’s also host a popular retreat for administrators and coaches.”If I know someone that Ron doesn’t or vice versa, I’ll give him the information and the facts on a guy. We create a pool guys, weed out some guys, but ultimately it’s Ron’s decision,” Pump said. “We find out what he’s looking for and through our contacts in the business and David and I have 20 years in the business we can find those things out.”Pump eagerly cited his success stories Pearl, Reggie Theus at New Mexico State, Andy Kennedy at Mississippi and the late Maggie Dixon at Army. As yet, there is no documented evidence that supports that.”I have no idea why people react to us that way. I don’t have any idea,” said Pump, when asked why some have a negative reaction to their basketball enterprises. “In any business, you people that don’t like you, who don’t know you, but I look at the institutions we’ve worked with and the success they’ve had. Our work in intercollegiate basketball speaks for itself.”Pump believes the attractiveness of ISU’s job has not been lost on the candidates he’s talked to.”You have tradition, you have Larry Bird, the ISU name is out there. The league is phenomenal, you lose one [starter] off your team and the facilities are pretty good. I think it’s a great job,” Pump said.

The Rana Plaza disaster, one of the world’s worst industrial accidents, prompted fashion retailers to work more closely together to protect workers in Bangladesh

MUMBAI, Jan 26 (Thomson Reuters Foundation) A group of socially responsible investors has urged 160 major retailers who source clothes from Bangladesh to back the extension of an agreement which promotes the safety of millions of workers in garment factories in the South Asian nation.

The Bangladesh Investor Initiative, whose members are shareholders in several retailers, has asked the companies to support a three year extension of a legally binding accord to improve building and fire safety across the textile industry.

The Bangladesh Accord was signed by global brands and trade unions in 2013 after the Rana Plaza disaster, when about 1,100 people were killed after a garment factory complex collapsed sparking outrage over poor working conditions in the sector.

Only 60 of the 220 companies in the Accord have signed an agreement to extend the programme until 2021, says the network of institutional investors, which represents nearly 150 investors with collective assets valued at about $3.7 trillion.

The Accord has signatory clothing brands and retailers from about 20 countries, such as Britain’s supermarket group Tesco, Swedish fashion group H and German sportswear giant Adidas.

“It is critical to ensure that future safety problems are detected before they become life threatening events,” Lauren Compere of Boston Common Asset Management said in a statement.

The appeal follows a $2.3 million settlement this week by a global clothing brand to meet fire and building safety regulations in 150 factories in its supply chain in Bangladesh.

Unions took the retailer, which cannot be named, to the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague, arguing the company had not made it financially feasible for its factories to fix safety issues, endangering the lives of thousands of workers.

Bangladesh, which ranks behind only China as a supplier of clothes to Western countries, relies on the garment industry for more than 80 percent of its exports, and about 4 million jobs.

The Rana Plaza disaster, one of the world’s worst industrial accidents, prompted fashion retailers to work more closely together to protect workers in Bangladesh, and laws were introduced to ensure greater supply chain transparency.

Yet campaigners say progress in fixing problems has been slow with complaints from garment workers over low pay, poor safety standards and not being allowed to form trade unions.

“Continued solidarity is needed to finish the job and prevent hard earned gains from disappearing,” said David Schilling of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility.
